Heirloom Coated is our name for how Silvaria is made: 99.9 fine silver bonded to an alloy core, then sealed with our anti-tarnish finish. Bonded, not plated — the silver is fused to the metal underneath rather than sitting on top of it, so it doesn't wear through.
